Is a freelance foreign correspondent and media commentator in television and radio for the BBC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Sky News. Mike, who is based in London, began his career on Sydney suburban newspapers in his native Australia, then worked as a broadcast journalist in the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery in Canberra. Until 2008 he taught broadcast journalism at the University of Westminster, where his work won two national prizes.
