EMERGENCIES AND THE MEDIA
– Surviving and flourishing in a crisis
Emergencies and the Media addresses the need for a convincing response to the crises that hit all organisations from time to time.
The one-day course prepares key people to respond to the tough questions the media will ask. It shows them how, when a crisis is handled well, it can limit the reputational damage and even be turned into a presentational opportunity.
Attendees are road tested with doorstep interviews, questions from radio and TV news programmes and a simulated press conference to make up a rigorous and productive day.
