Tailored Training at Yours

Media skills and presentation courses
– appearing to best effect

Pulford Media has courses to help you present yourself well on public occasions

Anyone at the receiving end of media interviews should consider our intensive one-day Essential Media Skills workshop. Tutors, who are themselves journalists, will explain the mysteries of the media world, and will interview you on your own material for added realism. In a small group (maximum of three persons per tutor) and with the help of powerful simulations, you'll learn how to really punch your weight.
Sample programme

From talking at a workshop with colleagues to addressing a mass meeting, our one-day Essentials of Presentation course shows you how to cope with public speaking and come out ahead. Body language, vocal style and winning words are among the topics covered in a practical way. You’ll give your own presentations during the course and receive intensive coaching (maximum of three persons per tutor) aided by playback.
Sample programme

Our latest offerings include two courses to help you get more benefit from media relations. Media Skills for All is a “taster” opportunity to learn about the news media and how proactive media relations can help your organisation. Headlines, deadlines, live feeds, soundbites and lots more... Better Press Releases shows how to create a press release that the media will want to use. Plenty of hands-on practice with headlines, leads, quotes and news values as well as ways to place the material.
